It is April 1, and Spring is upon us. After months of non-blogging, I have decided to usher in the season by proclaiming the following:

I am the bee’s knees.

What’s more, I am also the:

dog’s tuxedo • antelope’s ankles • giraffe’s waistline • rhinoceros’ noonday smile • elephant’s devil-may-care saunter • bole weevil’s fascination with cotton • owl’s naivete • lion’s preference for popcorn • tiger’s disavowal of dandelions • baby seal’s promise to take over the world

And of course, the cat’s pajamas, which I slough off and alternate with the cat’s meow any time I gosh darn please.

It’s Spring after all. I wish you a good one, in whatever form you choose.
